What Type of Oil Do You Use?

We use Penrite Oil a 100% Australian owned company. Penrite oil always meets but often exceeds the manufacturers requirements and is made using he highest quality ingredients making it a premium engine oil.

Why Do My Car Brakes Squeak?

Brakes can make noise for a number of reasons. Brake dust, uneven wear, rotors glazing or being very worn down are just a few causes. If your brakes are noisy and you are unsure best to drop by for a no obligation assessment.

What Does a Check Engine Light Mean?

NO it doesn't mean check to see if you engine is still there. The main engine light is known as the MIL (Malfunction Indicator Lamp), its there to alert you to a specific engine condition being incorrect. This light will need to be assessed by a mechanic with a suitable scan tool. Modern vehicles have many warning lights available to the driver from engine temperature, tyre pressure, oil level etc. Best not to ignore an engine light as they are there to prevent issues from occurring or getting worse.

Why is Preventative Maintenance Required?

Prevention is often the cheapest route. By not knowing or acting on vehicle issues such as worn components, costly issues can occur. Example: A worn drive belt is an easy repair if replaced as regular maintenance. If not replaced and it was to break this could render the vehicle undrivable or even overheat the engine causing catastrophic engine damage.

Will Bringing my Car to Your Shop Void its Factory Warranty?

Short answer is No. We are able to service vehicles still under a manufacturers warranty. Conditions need to be met such as repairs and parts need to be consistent with manufacturers standards. We are a VACC Accredited workshop and work closely with VACCs tech team to ensure conditions are met.
